Biography

Dr. Amirhossein Sahebkar holds a Pharm.D and PhD from the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS, Mashhad, Iran). He currently serves as a Professor at the Department of Biotechnology and Biotechnology Research Center of MUMS, with an adjunct title at the School of Medicine, University of Western Australia (Perth, Australia). His primary research focus revolves around novel therapeutic strategies for cardiometabolic diseases.

Dr. Sahebkar is recognized for his contributions to the field of cardiometabolic research. He has been awarded a fellowship by the International Atherosclerosis Society and has completed a fellowship in atherosclerosis research. His work has garnered numerous research and scientific awards, and he holds several adjunct and honorary positions.
