Biography

Dr. Remya R.R works as Associate Professor in the Center for Global Health Research at Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. She is also a Visiting Professor at the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan. She has previously held academic and research positions at several prestigious institutions. Dr. Remya has completed her Ph.D (Bio-Engineering) from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. She has been selected in the Top 20 Ideas in India of 7th Edition, BEST 2015, conducted by the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), Bangalore. Her research areas include Nanobiotechnology, Biomaterials, Stem cells, Cancer Research, and Toxicology. She has organized several National/International Conferences/Workshops as a Convenor/Organizing Secretary/ Organizing member in multidisciplinary fields in Life Sciences. She has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at National and International conferences. Also, she has received grants from DST/GITA for the India - Taiwan Programme of Cooperation in S&T, EDII – Government of Tamil Nadu, and DST/SERB for a national conference.
